Westin Sets Course for Cleveland
Jan 21, 2013
The Westin Cleveland Downtown is on track to open in spring 2014 following a $64 million renovation of an existing property. A new façade, built by Marous Brothers Construction, will feature metal panels and LED lighting that rotates through a range of colors. New York design firm McCartan will create a relaxed, elegant atmosphere outfitted with patina wood, leather, and steel.
The lobby will welcome guests with a residential, sociable feel, featuring a mix of communal work tables and whimsical yet comfortable furniture. Meanwhile, many of the property’s 484 guestrooms will offer sweeping views of Lake Erie. Cleveland's LAND Studio will commission more than 1,000 pieces by local artists that reflect the industrious and creative nature of the city. Furthermore, a modern farm-to-table steakhouse will be located adjacent to the hotel.
