Waldorf Astoria Arrives in Berlin
Jan 9, 2013
Waldorf Astoria Berlin has opened its doors, marrying the timeless elegance of the brand’s flagship New York hotel with distinct design inspired by Berlin's vibrant, contemporary personality. The 232-key luxury property occupies the new Zoofenster skyscraper, designed by German architect Professor Christoph Mäckler. Parisian firm Inter Art Etudes has created interiors that offer a modern interpretation of art deco style.
Guests have access to a variety of F&B concepts, including Les Solistes by Pierre Gagnaire; Romanisches Café, located on the ground floor near its original location 100 years ago; the New York-style Lang Bar; and Peacock Alley, serving afternoon teas. The hotel also will offer Guerlain Spa Waldorf Astoria and a variety of function spaces.
