The Peninsula Brand Enters ParisAug 5, 2014
The hotel has two lobbies. The Avenue Kléber entrance leads to the traditional Peninsula lobby, featuring soaring curved ceilings, opulent drapery, marble floors, and all-day dining. Meanwhile, the hotel's entrance on Avenue des Portugais is designed for arrival by car. A bespoke hand-blown Lasvit chandelier adorned with a cascade of crystal "leaves" interprets the trees lining Avenue Kléber, and, along with a massive stone installation, creates a luxurious sense of arrival in the second lobby area.
In the 200 guestrooms and suites, high-gloss lacquered architectural features strike a balance against the soft gray and cream palette. Luxurious touches include grand ceilings, elegant furnishings, marble bathrooms, and specially curated contemporary artworks. Customized interactive digital bedside and desk tablets are preset in one of 11 languages. Five of the 34 suites offer their own private rooftop gardens with stunning views over Paris.
Guests can choose from six F&B venues, including the Kléber Terrace, a street-side café sheltered by an ultra-modern glass and stainless steel canopy, and the L'Oiseau Blanc rooftop restaurant, bar, and terrace with panoramic views over Paris. Additional amenities include a spa, pool, and fitness center.
