Crafted by designer Zeynep Fadillioglu, the 270-room, 11-story building’s design includes striking artwork and contemporary touches reflecting the city’s rich heritage. The vibrant storytelling theme fills the building with lavish but crisp colors, textures and architecture that give the rooms and public spaces a modern Ottoman style. Chandeliers, wall panel mirrors and a unique staircase adorn the Atrium lobby and reflect the abundance of natural light. A team of Turkish artists worked with Fadilloglu for create distinctive hand-crafted walls designs, including a water-themed projection installation by Turkish Carnegie prizewinner, Kutlug Ataman. Laid out in purple and blue palettes, guestrooms feature contemporary in-room technologies and marble bathrooms with rainforest showers.
The Marti Istanbul Hotel also features multiple bar areas and two restaurants, including the French, Asian, and Turkish dishes offered by BRASS. BRASS also serves weekly seasonal specialties and an extensive wine selection. On the Mezzanine Level at the Quad Restaurant and bar, guests can languor on lounge chairs beneath Ottoman tents and choose from the expansive cocktail menu. The hotel also includes a Piano Bar, a Lobby Lounge, a Gourmet Stop, and the Lounge 11 for executive guests.
For leisure, the hotel’s 9,100-sqaure-foot spa features revitalizing therapies in three hammams, two steam rooms, two saunas, and five treatment rooms. A modern glass-enclosed gym offers panoramic views and a range of fitness equipment. The hotel also has 7,400 square feet of meeting and event space, including an elegant ballroom and four Mezzanine level ballrooms.
