Marriott International has signed Renaissance Bo'ao Resort & Spa in China, marking the hotelier’s 250th hotel in Asia. In China alone, the company plans to open on average one hotel a month for at least the next three years. India also serves as an important development market for Marriott, which expects to double its presence in the country to 100 hotels. The hotelier also has plans for landmark properties in Macau and Vietnam.
