Marriott International has signed management agreements for two new luxury hotels north of Quy Nhon, Vietnam, which will be part of a large oceanfront mixed-use development including three resorts, a championship 18-hole golf course, residential villas, a retail village, an arboretum, and other recreational amenities.
Perched along a hillside, the 100-villa Vinh Hoi Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, will feature design that offers a sense of place through native architectural signatures, local art, and indigenous furniture and motifs. Amenities will include three restaurants, a lounge and bar off the lobby, a lounge on the beach, a spa, a yoga/meditation pavilion, private plunge pools, indoor and outdoor showers, a kids' club, function space, and a wedding chapel.
Like the Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the JW Marriott Vinh Hoi Bay Resort & Spa will boast architectural and interior design elements that evoke its surroundings. The property features 320 guestrooms (most of which offer sea views), conference facilities, spa, four restaurants, a pool bar, and a lake that surrounds the main entrance. Guests will also have access to a spa with 10 treatment rooms, three swimming pools, fitness center, kids' club, rec room/library, water activities center, business center, retail arcade, and more than 10,000 square feet of function space.
