Courtyard by Marriott Opens in Woodland Hills, Calif.
Feb 8, 2013
Courtyard by Marriott has opened a new property in Woodland Hills, Calif. today. Located on Ventura Boulevard, the hotel offers access to the Warner Center business district and Malibu Beach.
The 122-room hotel includes workspaces and seating areas in each guestroom, 350 square feet of meeting space, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness center.
With a bright, contemporary design, the Courtyard hotel lobby incorporates natural colors — red, orange, and gold — with green accents. As the first Courtyard in the area with the Refreshing Business lobby design, this public space is outfitted with a home theater, semi-private media pods, and Wi-Fi in the seating zones. Welcome pedestals replace the front desk.
Among the dining options is Bistro, offering breakfast and light evening fare, and the MarketTM, a 24-hour shop for snacks and beverages. A business library with computer terminals and printer stations is also available. For eco-efficiency, the Courtyard by Marriott has introduced its guest-recycling program.
