Choice Hotels Opens 24 New Hotels in October

Choice Hotels International has announced 24 newly opened franchised properties during the month of October. The openings include hotels in 14 states and three countries, adding more than 1,600 keys to the company's existing 490,000-plus rooms. Select properties that opened in October include:
Dove Creek Lodge, an Ascend Collection hotel – Key Largo, Florida
Part of a select group of historic, boutique, and unique hotels, this smoke-free Key Largo Ascend Collection hotel is set directly on the Atlantic Ocean, offering tropical resort accommodations with an oceanfront outdoor heated pool, hot tub, private beach and marina. The hotel also offers free deluxe continental breakfast, picnic area, pool table, and scuba diving and snorkeling services. Guestrooms feature free wireless high-speed Internet access, microwaves, DVD players, and refrigerators, while select rooms also offer balconies and kitchen facilities.
Sleep Inn & Suites – Middlesboro, Kentucky
One of the first among the Sleep Inn brand to feature an entirely new refreshed modern look and feel, this Sleep Inn & Suites hotel provides guests with a simply stylish and reliable stay. The 100-percent smoke-free property also offers free wireless high-speed Internet access, free continental breakfast, exercise room, business center, and more.
