Beverly Furniture is in the midst of a comeback, thanks to a commitment by president Reggie Walker to maximize the brand's potential.
An important factor in Beverly's resurgence, according to Walker, was new ownership. Bob and Robert Brown of RBF Group International brought with them decades of experience in the furniture industry—and a particular focus on the hospitality market.
In addition, Mike Moore, who left Beverly to lead the design division at Pottery Barn, has returned to his old employer as lead designer. In another step toward continuity, the Browns and Walker rehired many of the people who worked for the company in the 1990s.
