The Aruba Tourism Authority says that the tourism industry is investing nearly $500 million in renovations and new developments. Highlighted hospitality offerings include:
- The Aruba Marriott Resort Stellaris Casino, which has completed its $50 million renovation that encompassed the property's 411 guestrooms, La Vista and Ruth's Chris Steak House restaurants, and the addition of the Tradewinds Club on the top floor.
- The new adults-only Cunucu Arubiano comprises casitas with architecture that reflects Old Aruba and Dutch influences.
- A $20 million refurbishment to the Hyatt Regency Aruba reformed the open-air lobby, a lobby bar with canopied daybeds, and four specialty suites that offer Italian furnishings and Philippe Starck bathroom elements. The hotel also added the Palms Restaurant and Bar.
- The Westin Resort, Aruba has wrapped up its $22 million renovation, which covered 20,000 square feet of function space, the free-form swimming pool, and pool deck.
Additional projects include:
- The new Okeanos Spa at the Renaissance Aruba Resort Casino
- Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort's new oceanfront suites, which come online next month
- Brickell Bay Beach Club's addition of the Intermezzo Spa
- Renovations at timeshare property La Cabana Beach Racquet Club
- Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa and County Club will offer the new Anabui Private Residence Club
- The Old Man and the Sea restaurant debuts in the village of Savaneta
- The opening of Mr. Jazz, a club with a Cuban flair
- The Havana Beach Bar and Restaurant reopens after expansion
- Passions Beach Bar and Restaurant opens at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort
