Regent Checks Out of Shanghai

Carlson Hotels has ended its three-year partnership with a local property owner in Shanghai for the 511-room Regent hotel. Sources familiar with the matter indicated that the split involved a dispute over a profit-sharing scheme.

Regent Shanghai, which opened three years ago, will now operate under the name Longement.
