White Lodging will add two hotels to its portfolio with new-builds in Texas and Arizona. Both properties are scheduled to open in 2009. The developer/operator, which already has 16 hotels in the Austin, Texas market, is building a 145-room Courtyard by Marriott there.
In Chandler, Arizona, White Lodging will construct a dual Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites. The hotels will share an outdoor pool, a fitness center, two business centers, and laundry facilities. Each hotel will have separate covered entrances.
White Lodging plans to add 100 properties to its portfolio over the next five years.
