Embassy Suites has opened its first Design Option III property. The Jackson, Mississippi hotel also features the brand's first Flying Spoons casual restaurant concept, which is part European-style cafe and part American coffeehouse. The Embassy Suites Jackson-North Ridgeland's key feature is its three-story atrium, which houses check-in pods, ample natural light, a waterfall, and a koi fish pond.
Design Option III offers developers an opportunity to lower their building costs because the prototype has a scalable key count and flexible layout that requires less land. The suites feature a side-by-side layout, versus the more traditional front-to-back design, along with an ergonomic chair and mobile furnishings.
