Starwood Capital Group will team with Marine Drive Properties to develop a 1 Hotel on Vancouver Island. The eco-luxury hotel-condo will be a part of the Wyndansea Oceanfront Golf Resort, site of the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club of Canada.
Marine Drive designed the entire resort, which features environmentally sustainable architecture, to meet LEED Gold standards. In addition, the signature Nicklaus golf course will be a Certified Signature Sanctuary with Audubon International.
1 Hotel will have 180 suites, along with 95 beach and golf villas. It will also offer an eco spa, salt-water pools, a fitness facility, and a restaurant and wine bistro.
